What radio traffic reporters REALLY think of you
Just got this email from my friend.

"fuck, i hate some of these fucking know it all losers that call the traffic desk. fuck off back to wherever you came from...better yet, don't call me."

I'll bet they get some real morons calling, imagine doing traffic in Boston and gettting calls


Yeah, there's this funny lookin kid walkin around Mass Ave and the cops are there an everythin, and they're directin us aroun an we're alll tryin tah get by and I'm on my way to Dooorchestah to pick up my kid from the ex-wife god she's a real bitch anyway big traffic jam mass ave ok thank you

4. This being Vancouver, the calls go as such
"Um, excuse me, I just heard the last traffic report. I'd like to point out you can't end a sentence with a preposition. While I have you on the line, you're not giving reports on the current condition of the tunnel today. It's very important you do so."

5. Wow. Pretty crazy. Although to be fair, I DID contact the folks at XM Radio about pronunciation....
There was a guy doing traffic on XM's Philadelphia channel that kept saying Blue Route with the "ou" pronounced as "ow" (like "ow, I just hurt myself"). Having lived here all my life since before the road existed, I know that it's pronounced "root." The guy was actually very nice about it. We even discussed why it was called the "Blue Route."
