12. Unfair question! I can't choose just one...
Spring - I love all the wildflowers in our woods: trout lilies, mayflowers, dutchman's breeches, cut-leaved toothwort (I love that name!), jack-in-the-pulpit, wild ginger...
In summer I love my William Baffin rose; it's going crazy. I love peonies and bee-balm and columbine and lilies and bleeding heart and all kinds of things.
I love mums and asters in the autumn.
