Uh UH.

I Googled "Egyptian disease long toes" and there is NO reference to such. Also, I feel my toes are proportionate to the rest of me. I'm not even Egyptian. I think he's making up shit. I think he made it up about five years ago and has repeated it so many times that he thinks it is a legitimate condition. I'm going to tell him that he has a "Czechoslovakian disease" that involves having square-shaped palms and first presents in victims by manner of the afflicted becoming a liar and a shithead.

:P

5. He has Minivan Disease.
Don't let him forget it. And there's no cure for it.

Also, your toes aren't too long unless they are actually prehensile.

12. My ex used to call mine "monkey feet"
it used to freak him out that when I dropped something I'd pick it up with my feet, then transfer it to my hand.

My toes, and feet, don't match the rest of my build. Switched at birth? I'm thinking some very tall woman with small feet is wondering :wtf:

14. He's probably referring to Marfan Syndrome...
which causes almost normal-finger-length toes, freakishly-long slender fingers, tall-stature, heart-deformity (weak valves and aortae), poor eyesight, scoliosis, malformation of the palate and chest-deformity among some 30 known symptoms; not all of which are present in every patient. It's a dominant-trait genetic condition which causes malformation of connective tissues.

It's what killed the guy who wrote Rent. It's genetic and was long considered a death sentence in one's twenties to late-thirties until they realized that nearly-all of the life-threatening damage it causes is surgically-treatable and preventable with careful monitoring and lifestyle alteration. Almost 200,000 Americans have it.

There is some suspicion that it afflicted a few of the royal lines of Egypt, however proof is speculative as this diagnosis is based on portraiture and not examination.

If you were concerned about it, you could ask your physician...absolute diagnosis is dependent upon a battery of tests but the condition can usually be ruled out in short order as three or more major symptoms must be present for diagnosis in a patient with no family history.

16. Meh--tell him you're an Egyptian goddess
Long fingers and freakishly long toes run in my family too (no pun intended). The toes are just weird, but the fingers help me play the guitar easier than the next runty-fingered individual! :D
