Another chupacabra sighting in TX
http://www.kold.com/Global/story.asp?S=8828677&nav=14RTapgg

What's the difference between Ann Coulter and a chupacabra? One is a beast that sucks goat blood and the other is just a mythical creature.

2. A coyote with sarcoptic mange
the raccoons in my neighborhood caught it a few years ago and they turned the same color. I cured most of them by feeding them marshmallows stuffed with a little medicine for horse bots (a vet gave me the dosages). Weird thing was that the hair that grew back first was very fine and pinkish! They didn't look like raccoons at all for the longest time, but they are all back to normal now. :-)

3. Heck, zig-zag triple-snap!
I live in the borderlands of S. TX (insert groan here, s'okay, lol)... Thanks for the warning -- if I see a hideous, slinking creature I'll call the Repugs to collect their own!

:evil grin:

4. My immediate reaction upon seeing that picture...
was that it was a wild pig or boar.

5. the last supposed chupacabra they caught DNA tested to be a coyote
a bald coyote with some sort of skin disease but just a coyote. My totally unscientific guess is that there must be some toxic exposure or a familial deformity going on here. Heh, maybe the toxic exposure came from seeing Ann Coulter on TV?

6. I saw that on the news last night!!! That is one odd looking creature.
The snout in particular. Wonder if it really is a chupacabra? That would be cool.

8. Naw. Probably a coyote with mange
We had a similarly looking odd critter up this way that turned out to be a fox with mange.

9. What's with all the mythical creature sightings lately?
Does this reflect something going on in our national psyche? That deputy talking about the chupacabra like he's sure there is such a thing, well, I find that amazing.

Me, I think it looks like a dog with mange. For me, the real question is "Why are there so many animals with mange showing up, and how can they get help?" Mange is a miserable thing for an animal to live with.
