I posted in the website group but I think I scared everyone off. Just thought I'd throw it out there.
DU has inspired me! I'm starting a forum for djs.
I'm in the midst of learning all about how ignorant of this stuff I really am.
Wish me luck!!

1. I use PowWeb for my personal page.
www.powweb.com

$7.77 a month (might be $5.77; they often have deals). I get 300 GB of space and I think 3TB of bandwidth a month, and I use nowhere near that much. There's a bunch of software you can install right on the server side, which is very painless, and I believe one of the apps is a forum (they may have a couple). I host two Wikis and tech support has been very good. I don't know if they have a page-maker application if you're not familiar with web design, but they probably do. I use Dreamweaver and do my own pages.

2. Thanks Zombie.
I will check it out.
I'm doing some reading about HTML and so forth right now. I don't need a lot of fancy stuff on the pages; I'm just having an opening page and a forum. The biggest thing I don't know about is that I am going to be restricting acess to ppl that have sent me verification info. I hope the restriction feature is built into the forum software, but am not sure.

Since 2002. Excellent service and inexpensive.

I run Wordpress, Moodle, almost anything I like there.
