If Sarah Palin were a man, who would she be?
Not bright or talented, but clueless about that fact. Has coasted most of her life on her middling good looks and (ugh) charm. If she were a man, she would be....

In politics, the obvious answer is: Dan Quayle.

In Hollywood, there are many, many choices. Keanu Reeves comes to mind.

(There is NO sign of intelligence behind those eyes.)

Other suggestions? Somebody give me an example from the music world. Jessica Simpson?

21. I like the comment in your profile
It's kind of a variation on one in mine -- something a very wise old friend of mine told me nearly 40 years ago. He was a Presbyterian minister who had grown up and worked in a Tennessee church during the height of the civil rights movement. He caught a lot of flak for the sermons he preached in his mostly white church. His philosophy, as shared with me, was: It's my job to comfort the afflicted, and afflict the comfortable. I've never forgotten that.

Mine is a variation on a quote by Martin Luther King, Jr.: "History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people."

Seriously though, Keanu's smarter than most give him credit for, and he's got more compassion, humility and kindness in his pinky toe than Sarah "Let's Rape the Wilderness" Palin could ever dream of. For god's sake the guy gave his extra Matrix money to the crew because he felt like he had more than enough cash and they worked extremely hard and deserved it more than he did.

"If you were a girl, Warren," his father had told him, "you'd be in the family way all the time. You can't say no."

Despite his surface calm, Harding's vulnerable nature led to serious breakdowns in times of stress...It is possible that as Harding slowly learned of the corruption in his own administration, he was heading for the most serious of all such breakdowns at the time he died.

As a senator, Harding was so proud of his speech against the League of Nations that he had a phonograph record made with his speech on one side and the song "Beautiful Ohio" on the other.

48. In defense of Keanu Reeves (yeah, I know):
At least he's got good taste in music.

If Sarah Palin was a man, she'd be George W. Bush.

Think about it: clueless governor, from one of the most corrupt states in the country, a history of petty and vindictive retribution against personal or political enemies, no foreign policy experience, a far right-wing, fundamentalist Christian social agenda, and a creepy old man dictating her every move.
