It has been an epic night for JackMN.
Edited on Wed Oct-08-08 07:58 PM by LaraMN
I think he ate one of his teeth. It was loose and now it's gone. He didn't bring it to me, so I think it's about 60/40 that he swallowed it. I'm not sure how the tooth fairy contends with that scenario. He has two other loose teeth and I'm concerned that he will end up crapping the makings of a set of dentures in short order.

On a sort-of related note, Jack made his first ever poo in the potty. NoelMN was exceedingly excited about it. Between his intense interest in his younger brother's bowel movements and his recent borderline obsession with memorizing the corresponding birthstones for each month, I have begun to decide that Noel's weirdness may not be a simple function of his youth.

:D

3. DId he get upset?
I seriously doubt that Jack would have even cared, had he noticed that he'd swallowed it.

10. Not once I cleared up a few things for him
1. Yes he was still getting paid, and would not have to look for it in his poo.

2. No, it wouldn't bite him on the way out.

17. What's the going rate for a tooth these days?
It was 10 pence when I was a kid.

Does he still get paid if he swallowed it? I mean, I suppose it will come out again, but I don't imagine anyone will fancy retrieving it.

;)

5. A bit of irony...
I pulled this "contract" out of his backpack after school. It was a pledge to not use his hands for hitting (all the kids got one). He tried to grab it away from me, and when I didn't immediately hand it over, he socked me in the shoulder.

4. Ah, the potty poo! I empathize with NoelMN's enthusiasm!
One of my six-year-old nephews is also obsessed with bowel movements - his and others. It's a sign of intelligence, I'm quite sure. :P

I haven't seen any pics lately. You should post both boys soon, LaraMN. :hi:

13. Just have him put a poo under the pillow.
A poo should be worth about a quarter.

It's odd that I would remember that, right? Assuming that it's true... I remember memorizing birth-stones and lots of other facts when I was that age.

congrats to him for his potty triumph!
