There is so much dried food in between my keys that they are sticking together.

Dried mayonnaise, mustard. a miscellaneous seed here and there, sticky spilled beer, bread crumbs that I can't reach, etc.

But I am not worried. It just so happens that tonight is the night for my yearly bath, so I will take my keyboard into the tub with me and warsh it up real gud like.

And knowbudy better make know jokes 'bout sumptin else sticky bein' on my keyboard.

2. I just turn my keyboard

over every now and then and give it a good shake. I've got a spare one, so if this one gets too scuzzy, I'll just pitch it and hook up the other one.

I really should stop eating in front of my computer. *sigh*

Thats what I do. Pull the screws, pull the electronics, and send er through. Does wonders.

8. I once got an infestation of ants

in my keyboard. I'd be typing away, and suddenly I'd feel ants crawling up my fingers and arms. Sometimes they'd bite me. I put a few of those little "roach motel" type ant traps on my desk, but I finally had to take my keyboard apart and clean the crumbs out to get rid of them.

couch cushions are the only sensible place to drop crumbs and cigarette ashes, and they're absorbent as all get out.
