I did something bitchy today, and I just don't feel bad about it.
Let me preface this by saying that my apartment's parking is adjacent to an alley. Directly across the alley from my parking spot is a public pay parking lot. Our spots are clearly marked as "Private."

For the THIRD time this week I came home to find a car parked in my spot, a shiny little BMW. I work graveyards, I was exhausted and I wanted a nap. There are no visitor spots for me to use so I parked in my neighbour's spot and waited. It was a nice day, so I sat on my bumper and put my feet on the BMW's bumper. After 15 minutes I was thoroughly pissed off.

I decided to let the air out of one of the BMW's tires (NOT by slashing) and go to a matinee.

I don't feel bad.

1. I think that was entirely warranted.
What movie did you see?

2. If you let the air out of two, the spare wouldn't have helped.

6. I would have been late for the movie though.
I'm trying to determine what I can keep in my car to write on the offending car, that will be a pain in the ass to clean up, but cause no damage.

3. If God thinks you did wrong, He'll refill the tires.
See? You're in the clear.

5. Next time call and have them towed.
If it's your designated spot, you should be able to call the towing service. If not, call the rental office and have them call the towing company. After having to pay for towing and storing charges, I bet they won't park there again.

Good luck with that. I hate selfish assholes with a false sense of entitlement.

7. I have done that before, but it usually takes too long
A tow truck can take over an hour to show up. Most people who park in my spot are either at one of the stores above the pay parking lot or at the consulate located in the same building.

8. That sucks.
It makes me so mad when people get away with being selfish.

If there is a next time, go for all the tires.

9. Get a small box of wooden matches...
or some round toothpicks, use them to jam the air stem open. It takes about 30 seconds to do all 4 tires and you walk away while they take care of deflating themselves. Get some of that crap sports fans use to write on their vehicle windows (wally world or auto parts store) and write on their windows, NEXT TIME YOU PARK IN MY SPACE - YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO RE-INFLATE YOUR TIRES.
