1. I wish.
I love snow, particularly in December and January. After February I've had my fill, but right now the snow yearning is starting up... :(

Another month and we'll hopefully have some flurries...in two months we should have a good amount!

11. Ahhhh, and you're in California now, too, aren't you?
That is so depressing. Truly. :( :(

Maybe some of us snowhounds will have to upload pics of it once it gets here. :)

I don't think I'm ready yet. Didn't we just get rid of the snow?

Actually we are looking forward to it now that we are three miles from the Camden Snow Bowl. Looks like fun!

2. We had a couple inches a couple days ago.
But then we got a Chinook wind (100 mph in some parts of town) that melted it all.

7. I guess.
:) I've sold a few here and there -- and that's the purpose of the website -- but mostly I just like sharing them with people.

3. i'm in northern colorado and we're likely to get an inch or so by morning
i'm at a lower elevation (not quite 5,000 feet), but they're supposed to see 4 to 9 inches by morning in areas above 9,000 feet and trail ridge road has been shut down due to the weather.

but no snow yet, but it sprinkled most of the day and now the rain has picked up a bit

4. We don't have any yet...at least not on the ground.
There were a few flakes flying around when we were out running errands this afternoon, though. I thought it was s'posed to wait until tomorrow night -- dunno. We'll see.

9. Yeah - it was beautiful here Saturday - nearly 80, and very clear.
but we will start to cool down soon, and I hope we will see a good number of snow days this winter. Been very erratic the last few years.

Enjoy whatever you have - at least it's not so hot anymore.

18. Sheeeet I live in Dallas, it was 85 here today.
Talked to my dad earlier said they got their first heavy freeze last night. Enough to kill off their tomato plants.

10. No, and I love snow.
Edited on Sun Oct-12-08 08:10 AM by Jamastiene
It hardly ever snows here. When it does, I dress in layers and layers of clothes, go outside and play like a little kid. I don't care if anyone laughs. I enjoy the snow while it is here. We don't get much of it. So, it's a real treat when we do. :D

20. update: my husband just called to tell me they are in whiteout up there, clouds
are so low there is no visibility with the light snow still falling. About 8 inches on the ground where he is. Warming trend beginning tomorrow.

He said he could barely see the rig, which is all of 100 feet away.

21. Gawd, I saw the weather last night about MT or WY
and I cannot believe there are place in the USA where it snows so damn early! Also, if it's snowing there, does that mean it's snowing in Canada, too? I don't get how that all works...
