1. Del Taco.
I spent all afternoon outside in 105°F heat at the organic farm/pumpkin patch with the Brownie troop. I only have one set of synapses left.

chicken, roasted potatoes and caramelized carrots. i have no idea how's he's going to cook the chicken, but i know it'll be good

he also made some amazing potato salad, which i've been nibbling on to tide myself over til dinner :9

8. I made a winter concoction
Ham, new potatoes, fresh green beans, bacon and onion all cooked together in a pot. I added a little water, onion powder, pepper and garlic salt.

It tasted so good now that it has gotten colder! :9

22. Dinner's not for another 45 minutes. (Left Coast, ya know)
And I've slathered a chicken in garlic butter and stuffed it in a roasting pan. I'm also planning a bit of Basmati Pilaf and a confit of fennel and leeks. All of which pretty much cooks itself with limited supervision.
