I am in a mixed relationship.
My boyfriend is a Mac and I am a PC.

Can this relationship be saved? Or is it simply impossible? I have suggested he put Windows on his new Mac Book but he simply refuses to do so. Whatever shall I do? In addition, whenever I ask for computer assistance, which, being a PC user, is quite frequent, he simply tells me to "get a Mac". I say "Let me know when I can buy one for $500".

1. I am in a mixed relationship. We find common ground.
She is a lapsed Catholic Episcopalian.
I am a lapsed Christian Church atheist.
You can work it out.

2. Well we are both atheists so we have that going for us.
We kid a lot about the Mac/pc thing.

But there is rarely any occasion when he has a problem with his computer and I can say "get a pc". Dammit.
:P

4. My daughter and son-in-law are in a similar situation.
He has the Mac.
He sneers at her a lot.

3. I'm usually in a different kind of mixed relationship
They're smart and I'm pretty much an idiot.

I can tell you what would be tough, I'm a dvd guy, but if a woman was a Blue-Ray girl, well, we could have problems. But more than likely I'd just change for her. :)
