OK, name that Manilow tune
I keep forgetting the title and google doesn't seem to be helping me.

Starts by quoting a Mozart piano piece.

Chorus - "Please, pleeeeeeease....hold me in your arms" or something like that.

Ends with Mozart.

5. The funniest thing about Manilow to me
is that he did NOT write the song, "I write the Songs."

Especially since he tended to write most of the rest of his material along with a few jingles like "Stuck on Bandaid" and "Like a Good Neighbor."

7. Two points to anybody who can name the composer of "I Write The Songs" WITHOUT looking it up.
Two more bonus points if you can name the famous band he's a member of.

9. It was Bruce Johnston
Bruce Arthur Johnston (born Benjamin Baldwin on June 27, 1942 in Peoria, Illinois) is a member of The Beach Boys and a Grammy Award-winning songwriter for composing "I Write the Songs." Johnston was not one of the original members of the band. He joined the band on April 9, 1965 after Glen Campbell (who was substituting on stage for the group's chief song writer Brian Wilson) decided to embark on a solo career. Johnston's first vocal recording with the Beach Boys was "California Girls."

Please see Wikipedia for more information: Bruce Johnston.
