****Turkey Roasting Help****

My turkey is 16 pounds and will be cooked unstuffed.

How long and at what temp - PLEASE?

I have read 5 hours, I have read 4 hours, and everything in between.....

1. I would go with 4.5.

When the juices between the leg and thigh run clear, the bird is done. Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

2. 350 for 4.5 hours

if it's completely thawed -- check with a fork to make sure the juices run clear -- let it sit after taking it out of the oven for at least 15 minutes before carving

At the 4.0 hour mark you should start keeping an eye on it, just in case your oven cooks a bit hotter than the readout says.
