Dude's, I feel totally fucked up right now.
Like emotionally fucked up. A little bit.

Is there a way I can get centered again? I'm worried that people around me will start taking notice and start avoiding me.

HEEEEELELEELELELLLLLPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk to me...

2. Well? Today was my last class for the fall...
other than finishing up my research paper and my final exam, I'm pretty much done.

It's not that I can't move on. It's just that watching someone get away with mistreating me in such a profound way is a difficult pill to swallow. I think he's scum. I can sit next to him and have class with him, but a part of me wishes that I could turn him over to the ethics panel without political fallout.

It's a bit demoralizing. My self-esteem is a bit shot, as is my overall outlook on my schooling. I just feel down overall.

3. I'm sorry, Writer. It must have been awful to have the last day of class spoiled by this guy.

4. Well he didn't spoil it, as much as I am now realizing...
that he simply does not care that he has hurt me, that he's likely hurting his wife, and that he's seriously hurt the reputation of this young Master's student he's been seeing. He simply does not associate his actions with any consequences for his actions. He thinks that his abandoning his work with me, for instance, is completely his right. It isn't his right, according to school ethics policies. Especially given the likely reasons why he decided to shove aside my project and spend an abundant amount of time with another student's work.

I know that a person like this will never change, but he won't be called on it. That's really hits my sense of justice.

17. What comes around, goes around. Trust me on this.
And the beauty of it is that it takes no interference or emotional effort on your part. They always manage to step on the wrong toes, at the wrong time, and get bit in the ass.

I have seen this happen SOOOO many times!

18. I will be honest... I have yet to see that in my life.
I've dealt with a few narcissistic individuals like this, and I've never seen them get their just desserts.

But I'm only 33... maybe I haven't been on the planet long enough.

7. Hmm...just tell him off. Tell him what a piece of shit he is.
It's not much, but it'd be a small victory.

8. You know, I already told him off, in my own "polite" way, before Thanksgiving.
Yup, it felt good after I got done. I called him on the BS about his not coming through on the project while helping another student... this is after he learned I wasn't working with him in the spring. He said he was "pissed" about it.

Too fucking bad.

I'm feeling the same thing. I tried to get centered, but tonight I decided that it would be better/easier to just start drinking again. ahh.... yeah... drink.

20. Dude... drinking's not the way to go.
I typically go into the bathroom and turn on the shower for a while. I sit on the floor and meditate to the rushing sound of the water. It helps.

But the reality of it all is a little too much tonight.

I'm sorry that you're not feeling well, either. Maybe you can try the shower idea. :)

21. maybe...
the drinking is a bad idea - I'm just still going through a complete shit time, plus I'm horrible at writing, and have to write this big paper/thing (not in terms of length, but in terms of importance).... every single time I do a rewrite, I think it's golden, and then I'm told to redo it.

Missing an exgirlfriend and my dog (who I maybe never get to see again) also doesn't help.... and having people here totally fucking with me is also no good.

I'm sorry that you're dealing with the stress of your paper while you're coping with the stupidity of humanity. I used to have it as my sig, but I'm tempted to repost it. People SUCK.
