I could spend the rest of my life in the weather outside right now. Sigh.
62 degrees, occasional drizzle and gusty winds. Last night I shut off the heat and opened the windows. In December, what a treat.

1. It's a little cooler here but the same otherwise
however it screws with my hair so less humidity would be nice if we're going to do this weather for the rest of your life. ;) :hi:

16. Nope...
I love winter! If I had my way it would never go above 60, ever. I am twisted like that I guess :P

17. Aren't these days gorgeous?
The sky is a hard, pure crystalline blue dome overhead, the air is crisp and invigorating, the snow dazzling...

And at night, stars... endless diamond chips in the sky.

Of course today it's cloudy over Minnesota.

19. I think winter in the upper Midwest gets a really bad rap...
of course spring OTOH is a muddy mess for quite a while, but the bright snowy days are worth it.

20. Is it me or are rain clouds in freezing weather a different shade of blue?
We had those lingering over us this morning... it was *gorgeous*.

No snow though.

22. Well, I am making a guess here...
but I would say that light probably reflects differently on water droplets than on ice crystals (sounds good at least :P )

:bounce: :bounce:

I'm opening up the windows to let in fresh air. :D A little rainy, but oh well. It'll be good to have warm air. It's been too cold too early here.

edit: humidity is good for the skin. My hair is wavy and is ok in a soaked atmosphere.

14. Move to Holland.
It's like that once a day.

Plus you can get a joint and a really, really good cup of coffee at a number of shops.

And the public transportation system rocks.

18. it's absolutely beautiful here in coastal norcal this morning....
Currently 40F, projected high in the mid-fifties today. Sunny and clear. Light breeze.

We had frost last night, it was clear, no fog or clouds. I ALWAYS sleep with the window open-- I love the cold air at night.

24. It is 36, cloudy and a little wet outside right now.
I have my wood fire and friends coming over later, it will be a good day.

We will be making cookies and drinking some beer.

I will order some pizza.

It will be fun.
