And I might if he doesn't get it (but I think he will). I've fallen in love with it.

6. I put this on my wish list
(except I want yellow gold)

I don't know if I'm going to get it either. Mr. MG is skittish about buying jewelry. I could get it for myself for my birthday in a couple of weeks, though.

I like your ring as well! Smoky quartz is cool, and I always like a mix of silver and gold in my jewelry--makes for a better balance of energies. :hi:

9. That's lovely -- is it an amethyst?
That's my birthstone. But he already bought me an amethyst a few years ago -- which I love. So now I want the quartz.

I hope Mr. TA gets it for you. Or maybe Santa will.

11. Yes it is
I like the energy of amethysts. (My birthstone is garnet, which is fine, but I'm drawn to amethysts.)

Thanks for the good wishes, but I just spoke to DH on the phone because he couldn't find my wish list on Amazon. Once he finally located it, he said, "But these are just books and DVDs!" I said, "There's a $200 ring in there!" and he said, "Well, we'll just skip over THAT!"

Harumph! Time to call on Santa indeed! :D

13. Funny, he says that all the time
I bought him a pillow that says "Humbug"--it has a gold cord for hanging, so I hang it on a hook over his office doorway. Silly Mr. MG, jewelry's for mamas who have been very good this year. And mamas will get her jewelry one way or another!

17. I like it!
You should check out these from JCPenny. On sale and some pretty ones in topaz that are very reasonable.

I bought these today but I'm not sure about the ring. I thought it kinda matched the bracelet, but I think it might look a little matronly and I might send it back when I see it. I hope it's a lot smaller than it looks.

I love gemstones though. I found this site that has some beautiful bracelets.

I love the seagrass one.

20. Frame it of course
Then point to it daily while nagging unmercifully for the real thing.
