Golden Globe Nominations are out - post your thoughts here
Edited on Thu Dec-11-08 10:40 AM by LynneSin
I think the big fight for best actor is going to be Sean Penn vs. Mickey Rourke. I also think that Kevin Dillon of "Entourage" was overlooked again. Jeremy Piven is good but Dillon brings patheticness to a character like you've never seen before. I think he deserves a nod way more than Piven.

1. I haven't seen hardly any of the movies.
Super excited to see True Blood on the list. Of course it is against House which I also love!!

The rest of the actors always seem to be nominated. Meryl STreep is the queen!

2. I think it's funny that Tom Cruise is nominated for that cameo in Tropic Thunder
I've read where the guy was hilarious in that role.

3. I have heard wonderful things about Slumdog Millionaire
I don't go to the movies because w/ my RLS I have a hard time sitting still long enough to watch a movie.

But what I've heard about Slumdog Millionaire is that it's simply wonderful.

5. Bought the Dark Knight last night and watched it again
Heath Ledger has to win. Every scene he's in is powerful in some way. It's a shame that he only qualifies for supporting actor, and not best actor.
