You know what I hate about Java?
Everybody and their dogs are writing some framework or other. But none of them can be arsed to write half decent documentation!

In a pinch, most times I would say fuck 'em and write my own code. But I cannot write my own webservice engine in the time I have. The Apache Axis2 documentation fucking sucks!

:grr:

1. I've never been to Java, so I can't really say. Isn't it really hot there?

4. I can't and don't write code.
I only know that when I click on sites that are java and flash-heavy, I long for the days of good ol' static websites in basic HTML

5. I hate that.
My code is like a movie's opening titles:

////////////////////////////////////
// App Name: App Name Goes here //
// Language: C# most of the time //
// Author: Me //
// Version: 1.0a //
////////////////////////////////////

Of course, it doesn't look right here, because the spaces on the right hand side never show up right. Still, my code is documented to the point that you have no doubt what the program does or when I declare variables and when the program calculates or displays a picture or whatever.

7. This is true across the board with a lot of open-source stuff, too
I know, Java is not open-source, but it seems that unless somebody is getting paid to do the documentation for any kind of tech stuff, it doesn't get done properly. And even if somebody is getting paid to write it, it still sucks most of the time.

I spent a (very) brief spell as a technical writer (before I got into web development), and it's an ongoing problem.
