My 6 year old daughter got in the van today and said, "What the 'H'?".

My wife said, "Leah, don't say that."

Leah said, "Ok, I'll say 'H - E - double hockey sticks' instead."

Wife: "No, you can't say that, either."

Leah: "But Daddy says those all the time...why can't I?"

Wife: "Because Daddy says those instead of saying the bad word. You cannot."

Hmmm..., and I didn't think they paid attention!
