It's bloody foggy outside tonight.

Well it's a real pea-souper here in GSO tonight/this morning. Normally I'm zipping along at 50-60mph on my way home from work, can do it in about 25 minutes. Tonight? Lucky if I exceeded 45. This is where I needed a guide dog to help me get home - I literally could not see properly at times. The worst part was coming close to home - fog extra thick, I knew the road was out there somewhere... it's black... (there's no white lines on the road close to home) so I must be on the road, right? And is a deer going to jump out at me?

I guess I'd better be thankful... some of you have it far worse. But the weather sure is freaky!

1. we were socked in all day today in Ft Worth. Actually all day yesterday too,

just thicker today. Our downtown buildings were not visible at all, even with their trademark amber lights.

I work on the 7th floor of my building and could not see downtown at all. It was strange; fog is very uncommon around here

Strangely enough the immediate area above the cars was perfectly clear, not a bit of trouble seeing the traffic.
