My HP Deskjet D1455 is whisper-quiet while printing, but...

When I start it up, and at the completion of each print-job, it makes more noise than a 10-car pile-up on the freeway.

I'm thinking it has to do with resetting the print cartridges maybe?

3. Ah no what I meant is...

That the printer is setting resetting itself and its not a problem per se..My HP has ALWAYS been like that. Also if I restart my computer, I'll hear the clunk clunk of the printer readjusting/realigning.
