Hey all you estimators out there, I need some rough numbers.
1) Flooring. Demolish ceramic tile. Lay 3/4' strip tongue and groove hardwood.
I'm figuring $10 to $12 per square foot for purchase, demolition and installation total. Sound reasonable?

2) Painting interior rooms. Some wall repair, cracks, etc. I'm figuring paint cost, plus disposables and materials, plus $25 to $30 TOTAL labor regardless of number of hands. Make sense?

I need this info ASAP. Hurry up.

LOL...thanks a lot.

5. for the floor - is that a bid you recieved or is that what YOU think it will be?
If it is a bid it is very reasonable, but I would probably get a couple more and watch it if they are that different - seems low to me.

6. Well, it is what I think it SHOULD be....
Assuming that you can still buy good hardwood strip for $5/sq ft.
