The two minutes I step away from the Super Bowl....
Edited on Mon Feb-02-09 11:19 AM by Tommy_Carcetti
...and I miss the longest play in Super Bowl history. Just my luck. The only thing worse that I did when watching the Superbowl was in 2004 when it came to halftime and I thought to myself, "Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake? Seriously is anything exciting going to happen during that?" And I switched the channel to the Puppy Bowl or something.

Oh well, at least I saw the end, which was pretty exciting.

6. Cough.
Went last year when some Baltimore team went what 4-12? Having a senior moment? Twice in the last four years isn't horrible btw.

8. I have no idea.
flvegan was giving me a hard time about them (what else is new) so I decided to prove that I'm a loyal fan good or bad! As I told him..its much harder being a Nats fan than being BoSox fan..and oh having the TB Rays in the WS gives me hope for my guys...eventually..:)

9. Well I admire your tenacity, if not your choice of teams.
I'd say something snarky at this point about hoping one day Lucy would let Charlie Brown kick the football, but then again, I'm an Orioles fan.

3. Driving back from the inlaws to home.
I didn't want to miss Bruce at halftime, so I figured I'd leave just before halftime to make sure I make it. I was pissed I missed Tom Petty last year.

10. That's about the only thing I didn't miss.
Missed all the commercials and half-time but not the National Anthem or the two great plays in the end.

11. We would have missed it too if someone hadn’t posted on the board that it was almost halftime.
I wanted to see Bruce and Mr. Gut was switching around between stations. So he switched to the game for me and commented that there was still 18 seconds left. Then it happened. Mr. Gut is indebted to that poster, whom I would thank by moniker if I could only find the post again.
