I posted about this a few months back. We have a pair of highly inconsiderate next-door neighbors. It seems that they are inconsiderate to others besides us; they received an anonymous note taped to the front door of their residence today telling them that their dogs' constant barking is bothering the neighborhood.
Do the two of them exhibit any kind of remorse? Nope.
The wife has spent her afternoon at the office dialing the entire neighborhood, house by house, to determine who left the note. They've called us, and the husband rang our front doorbell; we haven't called them back as of yet, and didn't go to the door.
We didn't leave the note, but we have contacted Animal Control, and let's just say that they'll have more to worry about than an anonymous note if it keeps up. In the meantime, one of our other neighbors called to say that when she tried to talk to the wife about the constant noise emanating from their home, the wife told her "it's none of your business" and "we will find who wrote this note".
Unbelievable. As Jean Paul Sartre said, "Hell is other people".
