Listening to a Bowie bootleg from the Thin White Duke Tour: should I assume he's coked out?
They literally jam through the set - faster than usual Don't get me wrong, its an amazing high-energy show. But even on slow tunes like "Word on a Wing" he's doing it faster than usual. Should I assume Coke plays a part in this?

TWD was around the height of his addiction, so yes. He was really, really high. He cut himself off around '77, when he went to Berlin.

5. Have you seen the Station to Station Tour rehearsal clips?
They're on YouTube somewhere. It's even more obvious how hopped up he is.
