it's sunday, and that's the day I give them wet food (dry food only all week)

well, today, because I'm roasting chickens, I cut up the livers and cooked them...added them to the wet food


I'm pretty sure they think it's Christmas or something.

1. Why no wet food?

I'm not waiting to ambush you on this. Really. :-)

It's just that after decades with pets I'm still working on getting the right diet. I got a good tip from NNN0LHI the other night that I'm going to try. I used to think dry was the best, then I heard it was the worst, then it's raw only, then it's not.

I know the dry is way more economical and that can be the ultimate factor. In any case, I'm glad your guys enjoyed their Sunday dinner. :hi:

3. I have one cat that seems to be allergic to most everything

The wet food she can eat is VERY expensive (its the specialty science stuff you get at the vets). I have found only 2 dry foods that don't aggravate her, one is the $45/bag food from the vet, and the other is Iams. So they get the Iams, and then they all split a can of wet food on Sunday.

2. My kitties got a can of tuna split between them yesterday.

They were pretty happy. I also took the water that the tuna was packed in and poured it in their water dish. Kitty Soda Pop! They loved that too. Took turns drinking and the water dish was bone dry within a few minutes.

Isn't it fun to make their day like that?
