GBT has disliked JK since they were both students at St. Paul's, and then at Yale. If you notice Doonesbury's portrayal of Kerry from back in the early 70s (when JK was drawing lots of attention as head of the VVAW), Trudeau was picturing him as a self-serving prima donna. I have no reason to think that time and recent history have mellowed Trudeau's feelings for his former schoolmate.
