My cat gets that. (She looks a lot like the cat in the "I heard a sneez" pic, but she has a mostly black face so her jeepers creepers peepers really stand out.) When the pupils dilate round like that, you know something's gonna get scratched - make sure it's not you!

12. My Roscoe (my absolutely favouritest cat of all times) looked like that

but he was about 25 lbs, and when he used to jump on me while I was sleeping with "that look" I KNEW his food dish was empty, and I wasn't getting ANY sleep until it was filled.

38. Awwww... Great job, DB! The gerbils' cake made me LOL,

since I had a mouse (Franklin D. Roosevelt ;) ) and then a rat (brought home my lab rat from Experimental Psych) years ago, so I've cleaned my share of cages. I've never had a gerbil, but I was designated gerbil-sitter for the little boy next door. Whenever his family went on vacation, he'd show up at my door, lugging this big cage. The first time, he wrote me a note that said "His name is Dimand." The little guy enjoyed empty TP and paper towel rolls... :D

As for my pup, I wish I could teach him to do this... :rofl:

40. My Daughter had rodents her entire life growing up

and I didn't understand the attraction til she got a Chinchilla. What a doll.

I know that they are raised for their fur :-( because they are so soft. So I figured that having one as a pet would be ideal, since they're adorable and also very nice to pet... :D

It's been awhile, though, since I began adopting senior animals from rescue. Even my pups don't live long enough... *sigh* And I've had two dogs who lived past 18... ;(

My little Jack is the exception. He found me at five months and will turn three at the end of the month. Now I know why I adopt the older ones... ;)
