Dear fellow library patrons...
Seriously, how hard is it to take a DVD out of the case, handle it BY THE EDGES and put it in the player? Then after you watch it, take it out of your player, handling it by the edges, and put it back in the case?

SIMPLE. EASY. DO IT.

Please don't use it as a coaster, skim it across concrete, test your new emery board on it, use it as a plate for biscuits and honey, or carve mystical runes into the surface with a screwdriver.

NOT A LOT TO ASK.

This has been a public service announcement from the Coalition of People Who Can Properly Handle a DVD.

P.S. Same goes for CDs...

1. But they're runes of protection, they'll keep it from getting scratched!

5. But you're forgetting that these people don't treat CDs well, so they probably won't be IN the case
most of the time. :P

3. We get audio books from the library for road trips.
I soon learned that spit and the hem of your T shirt is NOT an effective cleaner for greasy, snotty, smudged, whatever, skipping CDs.
I now have CD cleaner wipes in the car.

4. I only check out books at the library...
Especially since I've found my fiance's music collection.
