3. Dude, I'm on my way, but they closed the Taco Bell!

I took a detour to go by the Taco Bell, but they closed it. Must have been like last month, because I used to go to that one all the time, but today when I pulled up they had painted the whole thing yellow. How do you paint bricks, I never understood that. You must need a really deep nap on the roller to get into all those crevices and stuff. Anyway, they are going to reopen it as a burger joint--which is silly, considering it's right down the road from Top Notch, and could never compete with that--and since I'm vegetarian there's no point in my waiting for it to open in a couple of weeks.

So I've got to head home, get some food, change clothes--probably need a shower after all that--and then I'll head over to the meet-up. Well, after work, I guess. It's at the same place, right? The hotel bar?

And yes, you can paint bricks with a deep nap roller, but it is better to prime them first with something that will seal the semi-porous surface. I've never understood why people would paint bricks either, but there is no accounting for taste.

Be sure to talk real slow when you arrive later...I'll be so drunk that my eyes will be crossed.
