Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Any opinions on the show? For a 30 minute cartoon network show, I think it's pretty good. It's also good to see a bit more on characters that were bit players in the prequel movies - like Mace Windu & Count Dooku.

My kid is suddenly obsessed with all things Star Wars and we've set the TiVo for the Clone Wars reruns. I have a feeling I'm going to become a Clone Wars authority quite soon...

One thing that was interesting already--MG Jr. (5) commented that the characters look "a little different" in Clone Wars (as opposed to the Star Wars live-action movies)--he had no idea that it was animated! That's a compliment to the art department...

5. I know a lot about the Clone Wars

which makes this whole series kind of meh to me. I really don't like that they're steamrolling over previously established facts in the comics, novels and video games.

3. My son LOVES IT!

He can't get enough of it. He was upset that the season finale was on Friday night. But he got excited again when they said there would be a season 2.

6. I'm a big fan of Expanded Universe stuff, but can't get into Clone Wars.

I don't like the animation, and, try as I might, I can't like Annikin Skywalker. I'd rather keep reading expanded universe novels.
