Roseanna Barr looking to return to TV
"The star of ABC's long-running sitcom has teamed with one of the "Roseanne" producers, Caryn Mandabach, for a family comedy in which she would play the matriarch."

"Jim Vallely ("Arrested Development") is attached to pen the script for the project, which has been pitched to Fox. He would executive produce with Mandabach, Maggie Rowe and Barr."

I think this is great. I love her show "Roseanne." With someone from Arrested Development writing the show and Roseanne starring, it could be a great.

2. Roseanne, up until the final season, was an amazing show.
That truly showed the blue collar family. I grew up in a very similar situation, where my parents struggled all around.

6. I agree. They ruined it in the final season.
I felt like it negated the years of shows I'd been watching. But yes, before that it was a good blue collar show.

7. I generally just ignore the final season.
It's a mess, definitely.

But up until that point, even with its slippage, the plots were extremely realistic and grounded.

9. Very realistic...did you like the show "Grounded for Life"?
It was also pretty funny.
