1. Decaf is evil. Actually, I finished an entire 6 oz cup today - first time in months!
25 years ago, I drank at least TWO POTS of coffee a day. What a freakin' transition!

3. Dang, that must've screwed up your metabolism big time!
:wow:

How many cups in a pot? Mine does 4... I've thought about doing the 12 cup coffee maker, but to go into work having drunk 12 cups of non-decaf...

6. I had a resting pulse of 130 - oh, and I chain smoked (quit that 24 years ago).

4. 24oz? Now that's a nice cup! Mine is 8oz. I think 6oz is average...

5. I also drink about 2 12 oz cups of tea a day.
I am addicted to caffeine and have severe headaches if I don't get my daily fix.

11. A standard cup of coffee is 6oz
A standard espresso (if there is such a thing) is 1 oz and contains roughly half the caffeine of a standard cup of American coffee.

7. None, but I had two caffeine pills.
I don't drink coffee any more. When I wake up, I take a caffeine pill. Wakes me up right away. At lunchtime, I take another one to get through the rest of the day.

8. None, but only because I'm down with a fever
Coffee doesn't interest me at the moment. Haven't had any in a few days. I usually drink three cups in a row before 10:00. Been staving off the caffeine-withdrawal headache with tea in the morning and small sips from a can of Coke around lunchtime, but it isn't quite the same. :(

9. One, so far
Not sure why I've cut down on the coffee love. I used to drink about 6-16oz cups a day. It may have to do with the fact that I'm using a super-strong roast these days. Let me tell you kids, if you want an inexpensive coffee that's cheap and packs a wollop, get some of this stuff:

12. Weaning myself off coffee. And I have a terrible headache
I like coffee, but don't like feeling enslaved to my morning drink in order to feel human. So. Had coffee yesterday (Sunday, of course, a little decadence is required). None today. None last Saturday or Friday. We'll see how it goes, but my husband is avoiding it, too, so at least we're headachy together.
