I bought a horse today
I've been without a horse for too long and finally decided the time is right. This is Baya, four years old, Thoroughbred, green but sweet, willing and incredibly beautiful.

I am just so darn happy right now. :bounce:

14. Oh, yes I have...
riding, that is. As far as surfing, I'm tending to concentrate on schooling and my GF.

Life is good. How's Kali?

:hi:

6. my sister is about to sell hers. she doesn't want to make the time
for it anymore with other things in her life taking front and center stage. she was even a member of the equestrian club in her area of New Hampshire. she went through so many quirky horses until she found one she was comfortable with. i have always been a bit intimidated by them though i have been left in charge of feeding a few of them for several days. I always thought they were handsome animals, just intimidating to me. and the smell of horseshit never bothered me for some reason. my sister says it's because they are vegetarians.

that is a beautiful horse, btw. enjoy yourself!

9. She's built like the proverbial brick shithouse
If you'll pardon the French. And very sane for a 1) mare, 2) 4 year old and 3) TB! And a lovely dark bay.

I'm happy. :)

13. I need a good barn
I just started looking and found the perfect horse right out of the gate, so to speak. I haven't even got a barn yet but I'm looking at one tomorrow that sounds good and her board at her present place is paid up until the end of the month.

21. Beautiful ... mare? gelding?
She's got powerful hindquarters -- almost looks like a touch of Quarterhorse in there.

I used to have a pony and then a horse when I was a kid in the East Bay area, riding in those golden hills ... good times.

but every horse I have ever ridden on were trail horses. I just want to get on a horse and just go exploring without a guide.
