How are you today?

It is Friday!!! :woohoo: I had a wonderful lazy day yesterday. I perfected the term "couch potato" :D
Too bad I have to work today. But boss and co-worker took the day off so it is up to me to be here for customers. And tomorrow I work 8 hours at my second job as cashier. So yesterday kinda counts as weekend :) Tomorrow evening I either go to a club with two friends or we have a DVD evening at my place. Either way, I will see my friends.

And I too am glad it's Friday, although this week seemed to zoom by.

Eight hours at the store tomorrow? That's a lot. Doesn't give you much of a weekend.

A while ago I had a "second" job too. People would call in sick and they'd call me to fill in. Got so I was working far too many hours for an "extra" job. But, when my main reason for taking it - saving for a trip to Belize, was done, I quit.

No big plans for the weekend, just some rowing scheduled.

Met a woman from England who was finishing up her certification and on her first "certified" dive, she took some pictures.

Lots of Germans, British and Australians seem to vacation on Barbados. We did four dives off of Barbados. We also spent 8 days on Bequia and did 12 dives there. Super fabulous dives.

We also met a guy from Washington DC who took underwater pics of us. He's on an extended vacation and is not home yet, but he said he'd send us his underwater pics too.

Two very beautiful islands.

*sigh* I wouldn't mind being there right now.

41. Good Morning~love the Neuschwanstein pic

I have the day off. We were going to go on a short trip, but I might just stay home. Not only am I a little tired, but flying (standby, as an airline employee) on a weekend in the summer can be very difficult. There were 122 flights canceled out of Dallas Fort Worth yesterday (due to storms) so many passengers are leaving today, instead. Oh well... that is how it goes sometimes.

44. My husband has (or had) a class reunion in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is a very, very difficult place to go standby. But he didn't want to purchase a ticket even though they were inexpensive two months ago when he found out about it. We MIGHT have made it out on the 6 a.m. fight this morning, if it had not been for the storms. But I don't know how we would have made it home on a Sunday anyway.

Now that we have the whole weekend, I am thinking of going somewhere for one day where there are mountains. I really miss the mountains. I don't know.... I'm so tired too.

Maybe I just need some coffee right now. lol :hug: :hi:

I visited Neuschwanstein in the snow. Such a beautiful place. That's a nice picture.

While you were being a couch potato yesterday I was involved in my own version of Planes, Trains, and Automobies trying to get back home. Couldn't get on the Fort Myers flight, ran across to another gate and jumped on a West Palm flight, flew to Palm Beach, took the bus to the Trirail, rode the Trirail to Fort Lauderdale, got off at the WRONG Lauderdale stop like an idiot, got a taxi to the Lauderdale airport, then squeaked aboard an overbooked flight to KW (two people missed a connection). What a day. I was exhausted. My saga started at the Charlotte airport around 8 and ended about 5, when I finally got home. Whew.
