I'm going out and getting some eggs, a pound of bacon, frozen biscuits...and some OJ. Hell yeah!!!

Coffee, grapefruit juice, 4 eggs over-easy, and sausage patties.

spuds were fried homestyle with onions, green chilis (leftover from the grill the other night) and a splash of el pato salsa. Eggs cooked to order if ya want.

8. Pain Perdu, bacon and eggs.
I did serve the Pain Perdu with sliced strawberries--so there was SOME fruit in there! We are not complete cardio patients in the works!

I had a half loaf of really nice bread leftover from last week's trip to the farmer's market, and that was my inspiration. I beat up a few eggs and added some whipping cream and real vanilla to it and fried it up in butter. (No, I do NOT cook like this all the time!)

I do not remember that last time I made this, and it will probably be an equally long time before we can afford the calories to do it again! I also have to confess that a trip to the gym is in my immediate future--just as soon as I hang out this last load of laundry.
