Things go from good to bad OR a day in the life of me

So I was not laid off, good deal. I reported for work yesterday and was informed that I now have to work day shift instead of afternoon shift. Oh and that 6% shift bonus, well I guess I don't get that anymore. In and of itself that wouldn't be bad, but just a couple of months ago they cut our pay by 8%! Yay me.

Oh, and the mammogram and subsequent ultrasound that the tech told me came back showing a cyst? She LIED! The Dr called at 8am today and said I have a suspicious lump "lobulated mass" and I have to have a needle biopsy. great :(

10. Did the tech tell you a cyst before or after showing it to the radiologist?

I don’t know which is worse, feeling relief and then concern or just feeling concern right off. Good luck with your biopsy. :hug:

15. I had an initial digital image mammogram then

I had a traditional mammogram. They then wanted an ultrasound. After the ultrasound the tech came back and said "good news, it's just a cyst, just keep an eye on it"


And then the Dr's office called this morning and told me otherwise.

I had a needle biopsy once when I was 18, it in itself wasn't so bad, it's just the waiting and worrying that get to you. I hope it's just a big lump of nothing like mine turned out to be. :hug:
