1. My dear Xipe Totec!
That "warning" just makes me want to hear it all the more!

Just wonderful...I hit the HD and the full screen, and I loved it!

Thank you, sweetie!

2. Those Left Hand Octaves Are Crazy
Totally fucking impossible. I've tried it, and can only get through one bar. Very, very, difficult piece of music to play.

3. She is unbelievable!
That video showing her left hand flying over the keyboard says it all.

I have fallen in love with her, as much as she has fallen in love with Chopin.

I am mesmerized by her skill.

15. Darn right they are.
I couldn't do them, and I'm left-handed.

9. Mine too.
The fantasie impromptu is also a difficult piece. It took me a while before I could play the first theme, with its 3 against 4 rhythm. It's hard to bring out voices that depend on accenting every fourth note in the right hand (or every sixth note in the left hand, as Moura Lympani used to do). It's hard not to play the left hand too loud in the second (lyrical) theme. It's hard to play the many repeats with sufficient variety. I could go on and on.

11. Sadly, she is a Chopin specialist
I would have loved to hear her play Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.

10. I hoped someone would enjoy it. They were performing at the Van Cliburn
Amateur Competition that is held here in Ft Worth every 4 years. This was in 2007.

I stumbled over it looking for Jon Nakamatsu playing the Chopin piece, which alas is not on YouTube but is on a CD...it is meltingly beautiful.
