1. Can I vote "indifferent"?
It's beer with green food coloring in it.

:-)

I don't like or dislike it.

BTW...they've dyed the Chicago River green again today.

Happy St. Paddy's day!

4. If Only Two Choices Are Good Enough For Wolf Blitzer...
then it's good enough for me. If he can take a complex question that has many answers and if he can condense all the possible answers down to a mere two choices, then by-golly... I'm gonna do it too. :hi:

8. Hey, guy...don't go comparing yourself to Wolf Blitzer...
That could be the start of something unfortunate.

:-)

Ok...I'll say I like green beer!

9. Black and White... Yes or No... Up or Down
For us or against us. --- This is the world we live in... I'm just following along. (Besides I despise polls that have TOO FUCKING MANY choices with complex and wordy answers... and THEN have the NERVE to include an "other" option. As if the all-inclusive answer smörgåsbord wasn't enough, they have to include "other".)

13. I can understand your thinking...
That's all I'll say.

I don't want to get contentious today. This day is crappy enough for me without getting into arguments.

14. LOL!
Yep... as a moderator, you now have to "moderate" how your express your own opinions.

I don't think I'd be able to do it.

16. Oh, I don't know.
I think you'd be a good moderator. You should consider volunteering for it the next time around. :-)

I feel I do have to watch myself since I'm a moderator. It's a case of "practice what you preach", so to speak. It would be the height of hypocrisy if I were to say things myself that I might have to deal with as a moderator.

26.  i just went to our local funky beer store
bought two Guiness and two Harp lager and that is what I plan to make; although some here have said that to do that is not a very politically progressive thing, due to the origin of the term black and tan. So maybe I and my so will drink them separately, we'll see.

12. Only american piss beer is light enough to dye green
and decents Pils is too expensive to waste that way, and I don't like lager, anyway.

The beer I drink is generally too dark to dye green (With the exception of bavarian hefeweizen, belgian wit, or belgian strong golden ale)

15. Only early in the morning....
One job, years ago, was near the Italian restaurant that was headquarters for the Houston Professional Irish contingent. They'd open at 7 AM every St Patrick's day so the parade-goers could "prepare". A couple of times, I did drop by to avail myself of a free green beer before starting my work day.

Generally, I agree that Guinness is the way to go.

23. YUCK !! Life is too short to drink piss-ass beer. . .
and a poem is in order (to be Irish for the day):

THE IRISH PIG

'Twas an evening in November, as I very well remember,
I was walking down the street with drunken pride;
But my knees went all-a-flutter, so I rested in a gutter,
And a pig came 'round and lay down by my side.
Yes, I lay there in the gutter, thinking thoughts I could not utter,
when a colleen passing by did softly say:
"You can tell a man that boozes by the company he chooses"
And at that the pig got up and walked away!!
