Leprachauns being held as political prisoners worldwide are being freed today. They have also been provided an island in the southwest pacific on which to begin their lives anew.
Each was given a gold coin and a new top hat upon their release. People are reportedly causing much paranoia in the leprachaun community, as they seem to be following them everywhere looking for the pot of gold.
