Two of my recent favorite things

Sounds trivial, but I look for pleasure where I can these days...

1) I love, LOVE the new SuperTarget store that just opened up 10 minutes from my house. :bounce: The deals are good. The grocery store part carries mostly organic groceries. Plus I'm not giving my money to Wal-Mart.

I'll still shop at the organic grocery when I can, but for convenience sake, it's a pretty good deal.

2) I love Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on Sunday nights on ABC. So far they have remodeled (completely rebuilt is more like it) homes for people who are extremely cash-strapped. One was a foster mother who literally didn't have room for all of the kids she was caring for. They gave her a second story and new wing. The other was a family who abandoned a fixer-upper project to care for a sick child.

The hook is they only have ONE WEEK to complete the project while they send the family on an exotic vacation! It's hilarious and thrilling. Plus the houses look Absoluted Fabulous afterward. I'm almost tempted to fill out an application for the show even though I'm single.
