Who here is planning to see Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless Mind?
I was already a fan of Kaufman, Carrey, and Winslet before so I went ahead and read the script.

Carrey plays Joel and Winslet is his freespirited ex-girlfriend Clementine. After hearing that she has had all her memories of him erased, he gets even by having her erased. The movie mainly takes place in his mind as he goes backward through their relationship. Once he starts reliving the better memories he relises that he does not want to forget her.

It was amazing! It was such a beautiful script. The movie will be both heart breaking and poignant. I can't wait until this weekend.

So is anyone here planning on seeing it?

1. This will be a brilliant film.
No doubt. The director, Michael Gondry, is a true genius. Google him.

2. Yo.
But being outsourcedly broke, I'm not going to see it any time real soon.

I have a copy of the script, but I'm not going to read it until I can get a DVD of the movie, which will probably be after the first time I see it. Well, good things come to those who wait.

Actually, that's kind of dumb, but I keep hoping it's right.

That is what caught my attention. I think I will try to check it out.

4. ME, ME, ME
I have such a hard time finding movies that interst me - I hate chick flicks, dick flicks, cartoons etc.

6. I'm there!
Want to see how Elijah Wood does, post Frodo. Hope he makes the transition to adult roles, 'cause he's really good.

9. I'm going, but not exactly excited about seeing it
The g/f wants to see it.

Me personally, I think it looks lame and the premise is kinda dull.

I have a feeling it'll be even more boring than 'The Majestic' was.

Jim Carrey should stick to slapstick comedy and stop trying to branch out.

But, I'll give the movie a shot. I've been proven wrong before (I know, I know, I can hardly believe it either) ;)
