It certainly won't be for the NFC North title. There are three good teams contending for that, and the Lions are not one of them. Maybe next year, but not this season.

14. How many months did you and everyone else gloat about Dallas

losing to Philadelphia at the end of the season, last year. Much longer than folks will gloat about the Deadskins losing to an 0-19 team.

20. The Cowboys lost

their last game in their old stadium to the Ravens. When the schedule for 2008-09 was being set up, Dallas was given the opportunity to choose which team they wanted to play in the last game at the old stadium. The 2007-08 Ravens were awful - Billeck was play-calling and not doing a very good job of it, as my husband put it he was afraid to loose, so he called conservatively and lost anyway. Plus the QB - Kyle Boller - was not very good. So the Cowboys picked the Ravens. Fast forward a year - Billeck is out and Harbaugh is in and Joe Flaco is doing a wonderful job as QB. A game the Cowboys thought was a "sure thing" for them turned out the other way.

I do feel sorry for Redskins fans. One of my colleagues said that he couldn't look me in the face he was so embarrassed. I told him that things would get better. But I did like the way one of the local papers put it - Washington Bails Out Detroit Again.
