Last weekend, I got some pussy!

I've been away from any place where I can get some for believe it or not, seven months. It just wasn't possible. Last weekend, I find myself catching a lovely creature's eye...and after a moment, ambling toward each other. Eyes still locked. We met, and the lovely thing dropped to the ground and stretched luxuriously. I scratched behind the ears, to begin, then under the chin, along the back...we both loved it.

I'll tell you, it's wonderful to finally get to pet a cat again after all of this time.

3. Answer to both of you...

A neighborhood kitty, a huge, beautiful boy cat with amazing yellow eyes. (The local dog recently had its last days, and now the local cats are branching out into new territory.)

There are about five more of them that I hope to befriend. I do so love the animals. After a day of challenging humans, an honest animal is so very welcome.
