Bar To Burn Favre Memorabilia
Everyone is gearing up for when the Packers play the Vikings on Monday Night. But, some people are doing it in unconventional ways.

An Eau Claire Sports Bar is doing something special to fuel the flames of this big rivalry.

During halftime, the Milwaukee Burger Company wants customers to throw their Favre jerseys, pictures, posters, and other Favre memorabilia into a huge burn barrel.

The bar plans to donate $10 to charity for each piece burned.

1. Don't tell John Madden.
He'd probably lose his mind.

6. ...or the rest of the sports media
Every time he completes a pass, he's THE BEST FUCKING QUARTERBACK EVER OMG OMG OMG. When he throws a pick, it's because he's "forced to" because no one on his team is playing and he's such a gunslinger and having fun out there.

fans who would look a gift horse in the mouth, but my team is the Packers. Go, Pack, Go! But don't ask me to burn my Favre jerseys, books and bobble heads. That's just wrong. I'd rather just donate cash.

BF is gonna crash and burn and the Vikings will go down in flames late this season.

The Vikings fans always lose their voice. Its a contagious condition known as choking.

7. If it was me and this only pertains to Jerseys - as well as rare trading cards
I'd sell them on Ebay and make more then $10 and will have more money to donate to charity.

This story reminds me when a Denver bar wanted to have a Cutler jersey-burning party but they didn't get proper permits so they turned it into a jersey shredding party.

16. I knew they would shut this burning party down
Update: FD forces restaurant to donate Favre items, not burn them

Eau Claire (WQOW) -- The Milwaukee Burger Company in Eau Claire was gearing up for a red-hot party, and then the ECFD stepped in.

The Eau Claire Fire Department wants to keep Monday's "Burning Party" safe and under control. Fire officials were concerned about the size of a fire if everyone brought in Favre memorabilia to set on fire.

Milwaukee Burger Co. was promoting the party in an effort to raise money for charity. They're still encouraging people to bring in their Favre stuff Monday night for the big game, but instead of burning it, they'll be donating the items to Goodwill.
