If you split the check with a friend - do you do a tip coordination?
Oh that scene was so funny last night on "Curb Your Enthusiasm". Jason Alexander was a riot with not wanting to tell Larry David what he tipped on his part of the check.

For the record I like to do Tip Coordination. What's the big deal. I don't want to make someone look bad or have myself look bad when tipping.

I grab the check, add 20%, divide it by the number of people, round up to the next buck, and tell everyone what they owe. All in less than 10 seconds. ;-)
