10. balderdash...GASIST!
I've cooked on electric stoves my entire life.
No complaints from me, and no complaints from the eaters.
Gas stoves give you a small flame in the middle of your pan, or a BIG flame in the middle of your pan.
Electric stoves give EVEN heat across the whole bottom surface.
:-)

13. Humbug
You can't adjust the heat instantly with electric stoves. No use for them.

6. So long as there's plenty of counter space, it makes no difference to me.
I've cooked in 111-year old kitchen with a big six-burner wood-fired stove in August no less and still produced decent quality breads :D

It's too bad they didn't keep the modern look to the upper cabinets, too. They look out of place and in contrast to the lower ones...

I actually do have a "harvest gold" gas stove (with some of the knobs missing). The rest of my kitchen is even more hideous, and much smaller.

27. I love those old vintage stoves with a second oven over the top instead of a microwave.
We had one when I was growing up and it was fanfuckingtastic, even if it was that ghastly harvest gold color.

Honestly with a little paint and a swap to a gas cooktop, I wouldn't mind it.

31. Looks like my place, actually
The place I'm living in now was built in the mid-70's. The current owners (not me) bought it back in the mid-90's and with a herd of kids and grandkids, they never bothered to update the place.

Lemme put it this way... the bathroom sinks and toilets match the cabinets, and the wallpaper near the ceiling in the picture matches what is on the bathroom walls.
