Freestyle Music Park (Hard Rock Park) - it's like a soap opera...
This small but decent park opened in Myrtle Beach a couple of years ago called Hard Rock Park. Kinda small and not a ton of rides, but two or three cool coasters worth the time, some shows, a cool fireworks display at the end of the day, and tons of music memorabilia all around.

But, there was a recession, the prices were set too high, the park limped through it's first season, went through bankruptcy, was bought and then reborn as Freestyle Music Park last summer, completely re-themed after orig owners sued the new owners for using their "intellectual property."

Freestyle saw a slow season last year, recession again, but operated through it's Sept. closing date.

Since then news went from rumors of new rides to rumors of new investors to the re-opening date canceled to all business offices closed and website offline, the latter just this week. They say they're still gonna open, as soon as the new deals are signed, but no dates are given.

If you check the links below, you can get a glimpse at the short bittersweet history, and current up and down status of this park. No, it ain't Disney, or Busch Gardens, or even Carowinds, but it's in my back yard pretty much, and I kinda liked it. Hope it pulls through...
