My new business venture

Work has sucked the past three months. Mostly because I haven't found but three days or it. All the dickering to lower my price and still do quality work (construction). Again it sucks. Low pay. Christ it's AWFUL!

I do get some music jobs but even these are more few and far between.

So I am setting up a golf ball recovery and sales gig. Found thirty five good used balls today. Twelve were under the prickers of one bramble bush. Theresa helped me find another dozen herself! Intend to sell used, new balls as well as sodas and chips near the local links. Looking forward to it. Profit margin should be adequate. Will try and sell weekends starting this Sunday after Church.

I can sell used balls for 50 cents each and new ones for $1.50. For the new ones I will make 87 cents profit above cost (not including lunch, gas and mileage on car).

Then there are sodas: Safeway will sell me diet or regular Coke in bulk for about 33 cents a can. These I will ask a buck for them. 200% profit (prior to expenses). Am thinking OF touting tofu and regular hot dogs down the line maybe.

Beer is alcohol and might cause a fuss without proper authority. Gonna scam the thing right alongside the golf course until they kick me out. IF they kick me out.

Friend of mine supplemented his retirement quite nicely this way.
